With over a decade of teaching experience in forms such as Hindustani Classical Music, Modern Songs etc. Akash has been a guiding mentor to over 500 students. Having started his musical journey at a very young age under the guidance of his parents he went on to take taleem from the renowned Guru Shri Jayanta Sarkar at Lalit Kala Music Academy from 2004, where later he was also appointed as a Junior Guru. He also received blessings from Gurus such as Shri Jatileshwar Mukherjee, Pandit Ramprasad Ray, Shri Baloo Dutta, Shri Simaanta Sarkar and Shri Aritra Chakraborty. Akash has also had the opportunity to give his voice for multiple playbacks and music albums.
Silpa Dasgupta
Vocal Instructor, Principal and Founder
Silpa Dasgupta started her musical journey under the tutelage of Smt. Sondha Ghosh and later she continued to learn under the renowned gurus like Shri Santosh Mukherjee, Shri Alok Baghchi, Shri Amal Nag and Shri Jayanta Sarkar from whom she learned the roots of Hindustani Classical Music and other popular styles. Later she started her musical career by forming Shurpancham Music Academy in 1990. She also went on to become a judge at the respected Sarba Bhartiya Kala Kendra and also performed all kinds of genres at different stages.
Atanu Dasgupta
Piano Teacher and Co-founder
Atanu Dasgupta the son of the renowned music director Shri Amal Dasgupta is a known face in the industry. Having accompanied the likes of Shri Saikat Mitra, Shri Srikanta Acharya and many others on the keys he has earned his reputation over the years. He started his music education under Shri V.Balsara and also learned vocal music from Shri Alok Bagchi and Shri Adhir Bagchi. He is the founder of Orchid Bangla Band and he has composed music for many musical and film projects.
